How to Leave a Legacy Gift

Below is some suggested wording that you can use in your will:

​I bequeath to AEL ADVOCACY (also known as Animal Environmental Legal Advocacy), Corporation No.: 1345809-1, ([the sum of ___] or [___ % of the residue of my estate]) for the general purposes of the said AEL Advocacy, and I declare that the receipt of the Treasurer or other Authorized Officer to receive this legacy shall be a sufficient discharge therefor.

4. Notify Us (Optional): If you feel comfortable, please let us know about your planned gift. This allows us to thank you and ensure your legacy is honoured appropriately.
